Quality Education

We began our journey of quality education in the year 2024, we sampled all (6) good schools both private and public schools in our local area. We pay full school fees for all our participants from ecde level-grade 6 so that they can have a good educational foundation making it easy for them to get into good secondary schools.

We also celebrated a first class in 2024 from our participant- Jackline nduni. We believe with the above stated journey we will have many more of them.

Sponsor Visit and Filming

This year we were blessed to have our sponsors visit their participants at the fcp and their respective homesteads. It was a blessing because the participants were able to communicate their appreciation directly to their sponsors. The visit bore fruits since both of the two participants received 133,000/= each for the development of their homes. We also had filming team from the US doing a story on two of our participants and the fcp which helped to generate income for other countries and our stories made it to the global network and compassion Kenya annual report-2024.

Groups formation

We legally registered 4 groups in the year 2024 undertaking various activities such as poultry keeping, daycare business, earning them good income. This has made communication very easy for us as we only communicate through the group chairpersons incase of meetings or trainings. We are in the process of registering more groups this year.

Shelter Improvement

2024 took us through our first journey with shelter improvement. We improved our caregivers house who is epileptic and suffered extreme fire burns after she fell into an open fire.We transformed her muddy house to a permanent block house. We helped her construct a safe house for both her and her son.
