CHILD PROTECTION AND ADVOCACY

At EAPC Mwatundo CDC, the safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, protective, and nurturing environment where vulnerable children are safeguarded from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harm.

Many of the children we serve face risks linked to poverty, family instability, and social vulnerability. Our child protection program ensures:

  • A secure and child-friendly learning environment
  • Clear child safeguarding policies and reporting procedures
  • Trained staff and volunteers who uphold child protection standards
  • Zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, or discrimination

Every child has the right to feel safe, heard, and valued.

Protection begins with knowledge. We equip children, caregivers, and staff with awareness and skills to prevent and respond to harm through:

  • Child rights education
  • Age-appropriate safety awareness sessions
  • Life skills training and confidence building
  • Caregiver sensitization workshops
  • Community engagement forums on child protection

We work closely with families and community stakeholders to ensure that every child receives the protection and care they deserve.
